The world of strata living can be confusing and tricky to navigate. It’s a complex mix of rules, regulations, benefits and pitfalls. With unfamiliar language, constant changes in legislation and different terminology used around Australia.

Strata Advocates’ goal is to enhance, educate, inform and assist strata living. We make it a little simpler by providing clear and concise advice, management support and guidance to our clients.

Daniel Laforest established Strata Advocates to meet the complex needs of mixed use residential and commercial strata schemes; providing independent management support and advisory services to building management committees, strata committees, building managers, strata managers and lot owners.

Daniel has lived and breathed strata for over ten years as an owner, chairperson, BMC representative and also as the publisher of Strataville. His experience has taught him that a good strata scheme relies on the efforts of hard-working volunteer committees. This unwavering work and commitment can proactively enhance the living environment and the value of the shared property. The committee can and should set in place the building blocks for a scheme’s future.
